PADD is seeking a full-time, on-site Transportation Grant Administrator in Paducah, KY. This position is responsible for overseeing, assisting with, and managing transportation grants, including those from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). Key duties include preparing and submitting grant applications, ensuring compliance with program requirements, managing grant budgets, conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports. The role also involves coordinating with stakeholders and supporting regional transportation and infrastructure initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in transportation planning, urban planning, public or business administration, or a related field required (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in grant administration and familiarity with federal or state programs (FTA knowledge preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate initiative and self-direction
