Experienced House Cleaner

If you already know how to clean a home well, your experience should count for something.

You should not have to start from zero simply because you joined a new company. And you should not have to wonder what it takes to earn more responsibility or move forward.

PuraMaid is hiring experienced residential cleaners for our Dothan team.

This opportunity is for cleaners who already understand the work and want to be part of a company where demonstrated skill, reliability, and professionalism determine your placement and your path forward.

WHAT YOU CAN EARN

Experienced applicants may qualify for placement as:

Cleaner I — $15/hour
Cleaner II — $16/hour

Placement is based on demonstrated ability, relevant experience, and readiness for the responsibilities of the level.

We do not automatically place someone higher simply because they have cleaned for a certain number of years.

We also do not assume an experienced cleaner should be treated like a beginner.

We want to see what you can actually do.

This is a W-2 employee position with weekly pay.

The position is part-time initially, and hours will depend on customer demand as our Dothan market develops. We would rather be clear about that now than promise hours we cannot honestly guarantee.

YOU ALREADY KNOW THIS WORK TAKES SKILL

Professional house cleaning is not simply “making things look nice.”

It takes judgment.

You have to know what needs attention, what can be cleaned safely, how to work efficiently without becoming careless, and how to leave a customer's home feeling noticeably better than when you entered it.

You also know the work is physical.

You will spend much of the day moving, standing, bending, reaching, and working through kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces.

Some homes will be straightforward.

Others will test your patience and your attention to detail.

But there is something satisfying about finishing a home, looking back at what you accomplished, and knowing that the customer will feel the difference.

If you take pride in that feeling, you may fit very well here.

THE PURAMAID SKILL PATH

At PuraMaid, “cleaner” is not intended to be a dead-end position.

We use defined skill levels so that your development can actually be recognized.

Trainee → Cleaner I → Cleaner II → Senior → Elite

Advancement is based on demonstrated competency and performance — not simply how long you have been employed.

Leadership is a separate opportunity.

Cleaners who demonstrate the right combination of skill, judgment, communication, and reliability may also qualify for Lead/Trainer responsibilities. When assigned those duties, the existing PuraMaid lead/training premium applies.

That means you can develop as a stronger technical cleaner, develop as a leader, or eventually do both.

• Professionally clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
• Follow established cleaning procedures and job instructions
• Maintain quality while working efficiently
• Work carefully around furniture and personal belongings

• Ask questions when unsure rather than guessing
• Report problems, damage, or mistakes honestly

• Learn and follow the PuraMaid system even if you have cleaned differently elsewhere

WHO SHOULD APPLY

This position is designed for applicants with meaningful residential cleaning experience.

You may be a particularly strong fit if you have:

• Worked for another residential cleaning company
• Operated your own cleaning work
• Cleaned professionally for private clients
• Developed comparable hands-on residential cleaning experience

You do not need previous management experience.

You do not need the perfect résumé.

What matters more is whether your experience shows up in the quality of your work.

OUR HIRING PROCESS

Qualified applicants will move through a structured selection process that may include an assessment, interview, reference and background review, and paid field validation before final placement.
