Hello! We are Puppyland, a high end puppy store with multiple locations across the US. We're looking for a reliable, hard-working person to join our team as a kennel manager for our new Arizona location. Must have open availability and want full time hours.
General duties include managing kennel staff, scheduling and working with veterinarian, feeding, bathing, trimming nails, vaccines, house keeping duties, etc. Professional experience with animals is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit, educate, motivate and develop Puppy Care Associates
- Maintains a strong presence in kennel as a working manager, constantly guiding puppy care associates towards a high standard of care and attention to detail.
- Maintains a high standard of appearance and professionalism for self and staff at all times.
- Scheduling and working side by side with attending veterinarian
- Ensure that employees maintain a sense of urgency when completing tasks, give high standards of care, pay attention to detail, and stay busy taking care of puppies.
- Positively impact staff morale and culture for both performance and community relationships.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

- Directly supervises 5-15 employees
