Role and Responsibilities
The Canine Attendant must be passionate about pups and building lasting relationships with customers and provide quality care. Ideal candidate is hardworking, self motivated, customer service oriented and patient with both customers and pups. We are a family run business with a fun atmosphere. The safety and wellbeing of the pups is our primary focus.
1. Dog Supervision
- Oversee the arrival, stay and checkout of all play and stay guests
- Follow procedures for constant supervision of pups
- Fill/refill water, poop scoop
- Lead Light training skills and enrichment activities for the pups
- Give Baths to dogs as requested by owners
2. Cleaning Duties
- Complete general cleaning duties of the facility
- Sanitize bowls and other surfaces including floors
- Other cleaning as needed
3. Office Duties
- Greeting customers and bringing dogs into playroom
- Handling payments
- Answering phones as needed
- Other general office duties as needed
Minimum Experience/skills Required
- Passion for dogs and their care
- High school graduate or GED required
- Previous work experience demonstrating dependability and flexibility
- Previous experience providing animal care (personal or job related)
- Self-motivated, independent worker with attention to details
- Experience with customer service
- Physical stamina for cleaning and outside work all day
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
