Now Hiring a Front Desk Scheduling Coordinator (Full-Time)
Are you warm, welcoming, and ready to make a difference in patients’ lives? We are looking for a personable and professional team member to join our growing orthodontic practice! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a positive attitude to work every day.
Schedule:
- Full-time: 4 days a week (Monday-Friday with rotating day off during week based on practice needs)
- Additional hours may be available to cover staff vacations
- Must be able to rotate among our four locations: Crown Point, Schererville, St. John, and Valparaiso
- Day and evening shift rotation required (11:30am-7:00pm, 8:30 am-5:00pm, & 7:30am-5:00pm shifts)
Position Overview:
Our Scheduling Coordinators are true customer service superheroes — part concierge, part scheduling expert. You’ll greet and assist families, help manage appointment schedules, and play a key role in keeping our practice running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and families
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Answer a multi-line phone system with professionalism and efficiency
- Post patient payments
- Complete front office tasks and duties as assigned
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with copier, fax, and credit card processing equipment
- Bonus: Prior experience in orthodontics or dental field, and knowledge of related terminology
