The ideal candidate has experience in dynamic warehouse environments, possesses strong inventory control knowledge, and demonstrates proficiency with handheld scanners and warehouse systems. A valid forklift license and adherence to OSHA safety standards are essential for this role.
Duties
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory tracking
- Manage extended inventory tasks such as stock rotation, cycle counting, lot tracking, and discrepancy resolution
- Perform material handling, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods
- Ensure proper material disposition, labeling, and documentation
- Work in a random-location warehouse system, maintaining order and efficiency
- Prepare and verify shipping documents and coordinate with transportation providers
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and controlled manner
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies, including PPE use, hazard communication, and safe lifting techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with 5S or lean principles
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and planning
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse/logistics or inventory role
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes and best practices
- Proficient with handheld scanners and warehouse management software
- Experience in random bin or dynamic warehouse systems is a plus
- Valid forklift license and safe driving record
- Knowledge of and commitment to OSHA safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (e.g. data entry, Excel, ERP systems)
