Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join Punderson State Park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining restroom and shower house cleanliness, keeping an inventory on supplies, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our visitors in the park. This role mainly works alone and takes a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and shower houses by restocking supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use.
- Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is required; additional training will be provided.
- Experience in facilities maintenance will be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
