Punahou is actively recruiting a Full Time Regular Food Service Worker (dishwasher) to join the Cafeteria team. The Food Service Worker supports the food service area with responsibilities for preparing, serving, and storing food items for students, faculty and staff. They will also maintain food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition, and performs routine cashiering tasks and operates the school’s computerized point of sale system. Timely and regular attendance is critical to Punahou's effective and efficient operation and is an essential condition of employment in order to ensure adequate staffing, positive employee morale, and to meet productivity requirements.

Position Details
- Work Year: 10.5 Months
- Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Schedule may vary based on operational needs
- Minimum Hourly Rate*: $17.00/Hour - Compensation is commensurate with qualifications.

Pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors such as knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant training and experience, and internal equity.
- High School Diploma of General Education Development (GED) preferred.
- Previous food service experience preferred.
- Prior working knowledge of point-of-sale systems preferred.
- Incumbent will be need to obtain a ServSafe Certification within 6 months from entering the position.
