Punahou’s Co-Curricular Theatre Program is seeking a grades K–3 Drama/Theatre Teacher to support early elementary students through creative drama, storytelling, movement, imaginative play, ensemble-building, and age-appropriate performance activities. This position is ideal for a teacher who enjoys working with young children in a creative, playful, and structured environment; has strong classroom management and communication skills; and can create a warm, engaging space where students feel safe to participate, take creative risks, and express themselves.

Position Details:
- Work Year: 9 Months
- School Year: 2026-2027
- Work Hours: Variable schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM, Schedule may vary based on operational needs.
- Hourly Rate: $35.00/Hour
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Experience teaching or working with early elementary students required.
- Experience in theatre, creative drama, performing arts education, elementary education, or a related field preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills required.
- Ability to lead age-appropriate drama activities that support creativity, confidence, collaboration, and social-emotional growth.
