Punahou’s custodial services provide general cleaning and custodial support to over 50 educational and administrative buildings across a 76-acre campus. During the school year, the custodial team assists with the general cleaning of classrooms, offices, and facilities utilized by over 3,600 students and 600 faculty and staff daily. During the quieter periods of the summer months, they remain highly active by implementing larger changes and improvements on campus such as top-to-bottom cleaning of all rooms, office, locker rooms and other educational facilities.

Position Details
- Work Year: 12 Months
- Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Occasional weekends, Schedule may vary based on operational needs
- Minimum Hourly Rate*: $16.00/Hour - Compensation is commensurate with qualifications.

Pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors such as knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant training and experience, and internal equity.
- High school diploma and/or equivalent.
- One (1) year of recent custodial experience or related work experience.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Must be able to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one situations.
- Occasionally required to lift, push, pull and/or carry items and objects 45 or more pounds.
- Frequently required to stand, kneel, bend, and climb.
