The Academy Business & Project Lead serves as a high-level administrative partner and project lead for executive leadership. While providing foundational complex administrative support, this role is distinguished by its focus on spearheading strategic administrative projects, overhauling legacy processes, and serving as a proactive collaborator in departmental operations. The position functions as a resource to staff, students, and parents while frequently leading cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder meetings. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Spearheads meetings with stakeholders to implement new processes and organizational projects.
- Analyzes legacy systems (such as paper-based records) and develops streamlined electronic workflows to ensure data is easily accessible and reportable.
- Leads the evaluation and redesign of complex request systems, such as field trip approvals and space requests, to reduce redundancy and improve efficiency.
- Supports multiple Department Heads and program leaders in tracking expenditures, managing billing, and authorizing payments.
- Collects and synthesizes data to prepare high-level presentations and custom reports that inform executive decision-making.
- Manages complex schedules, travel, and telecommunications while protecting sensitive information and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Directs the work of office support staff or student employees to ensure project deadlines are met.

- School Year: 2025-2026
- Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Schedule may vary based on operational needs
- Minimum of Salary Range*: $80,000 - Compensation is commensurate with qualifications

Pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors such as knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant training and experience, and internal equity.
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five (5) years of administrative experience, with at least one (1) year supporting an executive or director.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Applications.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, student information systems, and electronic productivity tools.
- Demonstrated ability or willingness to utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to increase administrative efficiency, automate routine workflows, and assist in data synthesis or content drafting.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to proactively identify and solve problems before they escalate.
- Able to make sound decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks from various sources without loss of efficiency, even amidst frequent interruptions.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to use tact and persuasion when exchanging non-routine information.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism, decorum, and confidentiality at all times.
