Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment or products (Pumps, Metering Pumps). This position requires technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair faulty equipment or devices.
- Disassemble units and replace, adjust, or repair parts.
- Document work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
- Communicate with customers or internal teams about repair status and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Keep up-to-date with new products and repair techniques.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Repair Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical and/or electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment (if applicable).
- Certification in relevant trade or technical field (e.g., CompTIA A , HVAC certification, ASE certification).
- Experience with inventory management systems and repair ticketing software.
- Experience in Profit 21 a plus
- Valid driver’s license (if field work is involved).
- Workshop, warehouse, or field setting depending on the role.
- May involve exposure to noise, dust, and heavy equipment.
