We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team and grow with us.
Position Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, and providing sales and technical support for industrial pumps and related equipment. This role includes a mix of outside sales calls to customers and inside sales support, including preparing quotes and assisting with customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outside sales visits to existing and potential customers throughout the Puget Sound region.
- Provide inside sales support, including quoting, order entry, and customer follow-up.
- Focus on the sale of industrial pumps, pump systems, and related equipment.
- Assist customers with pump selection, sizing, and troubleshooting (we will train).
- Maintain a strong understanding of product lines and manufacturer offerings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to long-term company growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer communications.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial or technical sales.
- General understanding of pumps and related equipment is preferred; mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Puget Sound industrial market and regional customer base.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Familiar with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
