Pummarola is an authentic Neapolitan Pizzeria with locations across Florida and Spain. Our pizza is baked to perfection in our wood-fired ovens, built and imported from Naples, Italy to achieve the authentic, fire-kissed flavor of home. Many of our ingredients are also imported from Italy, from the savory, San Marzano tomatoes in our marinara sauce, to the Polselli flour in our dough. We're not just a Pizzeria. We also serve pasta, salads, sides, and desserts.
Position: Pizza Maker
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Pizza Maker to join the Pummarola kitchen team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for hand-stretching dough, assembling pizzas with precision, and working the wood-fired oven to create perfect pies every time. Whether it's a busy lunch rush or a weekend dinner crowd, your focus on consistency and speed keeps the kitchen running smoothly and our guests coming back for more. You will assist in making the dough, assembling pizzas and panuozzos (paninis) by stretching the dough and adding toppings, use the wood-fired oven, and ensuring that all ingredients, such as prosciutto di parma, are sliced and ready to be used. You will collaborate with other team members to maintain fully stocked and readied ingredients for menu items.

Responsibilities:
- Hand-stretch and prepare dough for Neapolitan-style pizzas
- Assemble pizzas with fresh toppings according to our recipes
- Cook pizzas in a wood-fired oven to exact specifications
- Maintain prep levels and station cleanliness throughout service
- Monitor oven temperature and timing for consistent quality
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a pizza maker or in a similar kitchen role
- Familiarity with Neapolitan or wood-fired pizza techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable, punctual, and passionate about great food

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
