Sandblaster Job Summary
Our company is looking for an experienced Sandblaster or Blasting Operator to join our work team. While you do not need to be a journeyman painter/sandblaster to apply, we do expect applicants to have some training with the heavy equipment, grinding tools, and power tools that you use during this process. In addition to operating the blast booth and unloading the cabinet, you may also be asked to help with painting or coating tasks after you have successfully removed the unwanted substances from the surface.
Sandblaster Duties and Responsibilities
- Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces
- Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment
- Load and unload the blast cabinet
- Assist with painting or coating as needed
- Apply and remove non-skid materials as needed
SandblasterRequirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Supplied air/Respirator training certification
- Previous sandblasting experience or training
- Experience working with or removing heavy metals a plus
- Physical stamina
- Flexible schedule
- Familiarity with power tools
OVERTIME
Salary : $17 - $20
