Role Description The Communication and Outreach Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Cape Girardeau, MO. This position is responsible for planning and executing communication and outreach activities that increase awareness of PulseTRC’s telehealth resources and services. Daily tasks include developing clear messaging for partners and stakeholders, creating outreach materials, maintaining contact lists, and coordinating events, trainings, and presentations. The coordinator will engage community organizations and providers, respond to inquiries, and ensure a positive experience for individuals seeking telehealth support. The role also involves collecting feedback, supporting basic research and reporting on outreach outcomes, and collaborating with team members to enhance PulseTRC’s visibility and impact.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication.
- Experience with Community Outreach and engagement, particularly with healthcare or community-based organizations.
- Customer Service skills to respond effectively to inquiries and support partners and stakeholders.
- Research skills to assist with data collection, basic analysis, and reporting on outreach activities.
- Training skills to help plan and deliver telehealth-related education sessions, workshops, or webinars.
- Ability to organize multiple projects, manage timelines, and maintain accurate records.
- Comfort working with digital tools, email platforms, and basic office software; familiarity with telehealth or healthcare is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree (not required) in communications, public health, social sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
