Occupational Therapist (OT)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate and treat patients of all ages. The Occupational Therapist serves as a clinical resource and role model by delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting staff and students in the provision of professional therapy services.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across the lifespan.
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' functional independence and quality of life.
  • Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and adaptive techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff and students.
  • Demonstrate professional leadership and serve as a role model in the delivery of occupational therapy services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and performance improvement initiatives.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Required Certifications & Licensure

  • Current Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping patients achieve their highest level of independence while working in a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.

Pay: $46.70 - $56.24 per hour

Work Location: In person

Salary : $47 - $56
