Role Description
We're looking for a creative Graphic Design Intern to help bring Pulse NWA's visual identity to life. You'll create compelling designs for social media, event promotions, web assets, and marketing materials that engage our vibrant community.
This role is perfect for a design student or junior designer looking to build a portfolio, work on real projects, and learn how design impacts community engagement and brand building.
Qualifications
- Passion for local culture, community engagement, and creative storytelling
- Currently enrolled in a graphic design, marketing, or related program
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong visual design principles and attention to detail
- Understanding of social media design specs and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively and accept constructive feedback
- Portfolio demonstrating design work (link or PDF required)
- Reliable and deadline-oriented work ethic
Nice to have
Experience with:
- Motion graphics or video design
- UI/UX design for web applications
- Brand identity and logo design
