As we scale, we’re looking for driven, creative, and motivated interns to join our team. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of digital media while being part of a company that’s shaping the next generation of journalism and cultural content.
We’re Looking For Interns In The Following Areas:
- Social Media Interns
- Assist in managing Pulse's social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube)
- Help create engaging content, build a community, and track analytics
- Experience with tools like Later or Canva is a plus
- Creativity, excellent writing skills, and attention to detail required
- Journalism/Editorial Interns
- Write articles, reports, and feature pieces for Pulse’s online presence
- Conduct interviews and assist with editorial planning
- Strong research and writing skills are essential
- Experience in content writing or journalism preferred
- PR/Communications Interns
- Assist with public relations strategies, press releases, and media outreach
- Help manage communication with brands, creators, and journalists
- Passion for storytelling and connecting brands with the media
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills required
- Video Editing Interns
- Assist with editing long-form and short-form video content for Pulse
- Work with creators and journalists to deliver polished, impactful visuals
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or similar tools required
- Creative storytelling and a strong eye for detail is a must
- Photography/Film Interns
- Capture stunning visual content for Pulse’s media platforms
- Assist with setting up photo and video shoots, as well as editing
- Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom required
- Creative direction and visual storytelling are key
- Art Director Intern
- Collaborate with the creative team to define Pulse’s visual style
- Develop and maintain the Pulse aesthetic for web, social, and editorial content
- Strong understanding of design principles and a passion for innovative visuals
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required
- Graphic Designer Interns
- Design graphics, layouts, and assets for social media, website, and print
- Assist in creating branding materials, promotional campaigns, and visual content
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is essential
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities required

Qualifications

Note: These internships are unpaid but will provide valuable industry experience and exposure. The internship will be remote, with flexible working hours to accommodate students or other commitments. Local interns will have the opportunity to attend events and be on-site for some work.
