LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) URGENTLY HIRING

We are growing clinic seeking a highly skilled and personable Licensed Practical nurse to provide basic medical care to patients under the supervision of the provider. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you are accountable for administering medication, monitoring patient symptoms and communicating with healthcare professionals. You’ll need to be reliable and possess strong problem solving skills, as you will be responsible for implementing preventative measures to eliminate health risks and keep patients happy and safe. This is a PART-TIME position that can grow to full-time for the right candidate. Hours to start Mondays & Wednesdays 7:45am-6:15pm with a 1 hour lunch daily.

Responsibilities:

• Assess vital signs and record medical history.
• Perform patient intake in a clinic setting, as well as diagnostic tests, administer medications and treatments as necessary.
• Perform phlebotomy and prepare specimens for lab tests.
• Maintain treatment areas and assist provider during procedures (e.g. suturing, women's gyn exams, Botox and fillers, etc.).
• Provide education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment plan as ordered by the provider.
• Record accurate and timely patient information in relevant charts or databases.
• Contacting patients with lab and diagnostic testing results after review and notations by provider.
• Keep a friendly demeanor over the telephone and in person.
• Answer telephones intermittently if front desk unavailable.

Experience:

• LPN/LVN: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
