What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waste Water Operator (Night Shift) position at Pulmuone Foods USA, Inc.?
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operates and maintains proper operation for the treatment plant to control flow and adjustment of valves.
- Perform daily inspection of treatment plant probes, pumps, filters, tanks, and controllers.
- Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings and test results to determine proper requirements. Periodic calibration of analytical instrumentation required.
- Provide proper records of the plant as well as discharge levels
- Collect weekly samples for lab analysis.
- Record daily readings of the treatment plant as well as daily water meter readings in specific areas throughout the production facility.
- Maintain proper inventory of chemicals
- Additional duties may be required
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficient in the use of tools necessary in the repair, installation and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Must be computer literate.
- One to three years similar work experience in the operation and maintenance of a high volume wastewater treatment facility.
- Must have and maintain a Massachusetts grade 4 wastewater license or higher.
