Visit www.pulmuonefoodsusa.com to learn more about the company and brands.Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Handle daily HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, generalist HR duties; serve as the subject matter expert in Total Rewards and Recognition.Lead payroll processing, audits, and reporting.Maintain HRIS/HCM system, ensuring data integrity, accurate workflows, and regular audits.Process end-to-end payroll for 500 employees, ensuring strict compliance with wage and hour laws.Support Dayforce backend configurations, system enhancements, workflow updates, and reporting setup to optimize payroll and HR operations.Monitor employee time & attendance, review timesheets, identify discrepancies, and reconcile issues.Review digital attestations, ensure follow up of non-compliances, and maintain strict documentation.Prepare analytical payroll reports, including payroll records/deductions general ledger reconciliations, monthly accruals, labor/hours/headcount; compile data and for internal/external reporting, including additional temporary staff.Responsible promptly to UI, garnishment, employment verifications, annual pay data reports.Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, 401K, FSA, disability insurance; manage 401k enrollment, contribution processing, loans, etc.Manage new hire onboarding and termination processes, including final pay, exit forms, COBRA administration and exit interviews.Serve as HR Generalist with broad HR expertise and Total Rewards & Recognition subject matter expert, supporting leave administration, driving process improvements and providing policy guidance.Support with day-to-day HR duties and as requested by manager.Skills/Qualifications:Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business Admin, Accounting or equivalent work experience.6-8 years of HR/Accounting experience, including at least 4 years in mid-sized payroll operations in a specialist/analyst capacity.Strong knowledge of CA Wage & Hour and meals and rest breaks compliance.Ability to foster a culture that reflects Pulmuone's core values, leading by example with a positive attitude.Advance proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems. Dayforce/Ceridian experience and backend configuration skills highly preferred.Ability to run HRIS reports, strong technical aptitude with HR, payroll, and timekeeping platforms.Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel. Ability to consolidate reports and analyze labor data (pivot, v-look up skills are needed). Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.Good knowledge of payroll procedures and administration. Well versed with standard payroll concepts, practices, and procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel.Highly detail-oriented and organized, able to prioritize tasks.Demonstrated discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Strong sense of ownership; ability to make independent decisions and follow through on responsibilities.We offer competitive pay and benefits package, including health (~80-90% company paid) for employee and dependents, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, company match 401K plan, vacation, floating holidays, and company holidays.Pulmuone is a global, distributed workforce in four countries.
