Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
- Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, and restaurant policies with professionalism.
Experience
- Prior food service experience in a restaurant setting, preferably with casual or upscale establishments.
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with cocktail preparation, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and beverage service is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and resolve issues promptly.
- Previous host/hostess or cashiering experience is beneficial but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential.
