Pay Range: The base pay range for this position is $41.27-$62.62 Hourly however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Job Title: Occupational Therapist Work Schedule for this Position: Monday-Friday 8am5pm; occasional Saturday on-call About the Team: Pullman Regional Hospital’s Rehabilitation Services Department, also known as Summit Therapy, is a dynamic and multidisciplinary team of highly skilled individuals. The Occupational Therapy department cares for patients of all ages, in both locations of inpatient/acute care and outpatient services. Position Overview: Plans and administers medically prescribed treatment programs to help people with injury, illness, or disability to develop, recover, improve, and maintain skills for activities of daily living. A Day in the Life: Evaluate patient function in accordance with the American Occupational Therapy Association’s standards of practice for the delivery of occupational therapy. Develop and administer therapy plans in accordance with the American Occupational Therapy Association’s standards of practice for the delivery of occupational therapy. Review patient needs and adjust plan of care as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Communicate and consult with other professional staff, including support staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Use positive communication skills within the framework of teamwork, throughout all daily activities and given a like-minded approach of excellence in patient care. Attend staff meetings on a regular basis. Document in accordance with industry standards of excellence and complete all documentation within required timeframe. Monitor patient charts for required signatures and other required components to ensure a complete and accurate chart at all times. Work effectively to always follow departmental and hospital infection control and safety policies and procedures. Use department and hospital equipment and resources efficiently, safely and effectively. Contribute to creating a safe work environment by identifying any safety concerns and actively seeking to resolve those concerns in cooperation with the Director. About You! This Job is For You if You Have: Degree from an accredited university program in Occupational Therapy. Active Washington State License or ability to obtain upon hire. Excellent communication skills with colleagues and patients. Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately.
