Job Overview/Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals within the community. This role involves assisting with personal care, promoting independence, and ensuring the overall well-being of service users.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with personal care needs such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with medication administration and documentation in line with care plans.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking where required.
• Promote independence and encourage service users to engage in daily living tasks.
• Build positive relationships with individuals and their families.
• Support emotional well-being and recognise signs of distress or behavioural changes.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the home.
• Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times.

• Caring and compassionate approach.
• Strong commitment to putting people first.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  
  

Secondary Skills (Good To Have)

• Previous care work experience.
• Familiarity with care plans and documentation procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not essential—full training provided.
• Weekend availability (alternative weekends or at least one day per weekend).
