Job Overview/Summary
The Therapist III is responsible for delivering high-quality behavioral health services to diverse patient populations. This role requires advanced clinical expertise, independent judgment, and adherence to state and professional licensing standards to support patient well-being and treatment outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services to behavioral health patients across age-specific populations
- Apply evidence-based clinical practices in treatment planning and intervention
- Maintain compliance with licensing, regulatory, and organizational standards
- Utilize de-escalation techniques and effective communication strategies as required
- Document clinical services accurately and timely
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Clinical assessment and therapeutic intervention
- Behavioral health treatment planning
- Knowledge of age-specific behavioral health needs
- De-escalation and crisis intervention techniques
- Experience with substance use disorder treatment
- Familiarity with state-approved restrictive intervention curricula
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Graduate degree required
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical experience required
- Active licensure required, one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician (LCMHC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor (LMFT)
- Clinical PhD/PsyD level Psychologist
- For Substance Use Therapist roles:
- Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) or
- Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCAS-A) with one of the above licenses
- NC state-approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire (as applicable)
- Good working knowledge of computers required

Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
