Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations to encourage repeat visits
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize table turnover during busy hours
Experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Proven skills in customer service, upselling, cash handling, basic math, and guest relations
- Experience in serving or host/hostess roles within the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining a positive attitude
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; a passion for food and hospitality is essential
