- Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and industry best practices for construction safety.
- Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Professional safety certifications (e.g., CHST, CSP, ASP, OSHA 30 or 40-hour) are highly beneficial.
- Ability to communicate clearly with diverse project teams, influence safe behaviors, and document findings accurately.
