What are the responsibilities and job description for the LTR Chemical Operator position at PULCRA CHEMICALS LLC?
Summary/Objective
The Chemical Operator – Blending operates, regulates, and monitors batch chemical process units and auxiliary equipment to produce quality products that exceed customer expectations. Operators in the Blending department work 8 hour shifts, 5 days per week (M-F). Occasional overtime may be required, assisting other departments as necessary based on demand. The Chemical Operator – Blending reports to the Manufacturing Engineer.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for following batch cards to manufacture quality products for customers
- Charge, mix, decant and drum batches
- Loading/Unloading bulk liquid tank trucks
- Transfers finished products into proper containers and properly label
- Monitor gauges, valves, instruments and make necessary adjustments; control pressures, temperatures, solutions and flow of chemicals
- Maintains log sheets, documentation and SAP information as required
- Cooperates with other operators and departments to maintain a high level of safety, housekeeping, and efficiency
- Any other tasks as assigned by management

Required Education and Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience operating batch chemical processes
- Experience loading/unloading bulk liquid tankers
- Fork truck and warehouse experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
