We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our emergency response team. In this role, you will provide advanced pre-hospital medical care, respond to emergency calls, and support patients during critical situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and respect.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency calls and assess patient conditions on scene.
- Provide advanced life support, including patient assessment, airway management, cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and emergency interventions within scope of practice.
- Stabilize patients and safely transport them to appropriate medical facilities.
- Document patient care clearly and accurately in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare providers, and emergency personnel during patient care and handoff.
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and ensure vehicle readiness.
- Follow established protocols, safety procedures, and infection prevention practices.
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient, high-quality emergency response services.
- Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Current Paramedic certification or licensure in good standing, as required by the state or jurisdiction.
- Current CPR certification and any additional required life support credentials.
- Experience in emergency medical services, pre-hospital care, or a related clinical setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using emergency medical equipment and documentation systems.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and assist patients safely in emergency environments.
