Description
Job Goal: To collaboratively lead and support the district’s mission of educational excellence in the strategic development, implementation, and continuous improvement of technology and digital media
within high-quality curriculum, assessment, and instructional practices. This is a 198 day contract, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4pm
Qualifications:
Current First Aid/CPR certified or willing to obtain
Demonstrated ability to:

Minimum of five years of successful teaching. Must possess and maintain or be eligible to hold a current Wisconsin teaching license.
Library Media Certification and/or Masters Degree in Technology or Administration preferred.
Experience in integration of technology into learning with development of student skills in the 4Cs.
Demonstrated ability in Future Focused Skills as well as ability to support integration of these skills into student learning

Leadership and Vision
Collaborate with the Director of Instructional and Informational Technology and Digital Learning Specialist/Library Media Specialist team to carry out the Teaching and Learning Mission and create a technology literate culture within all buildings and departments
Assist in evaluating and promoting awareness of emerging technologies, Identifying instructional software and device needs and research best practices and best products for integration with all content standards and curriculum.
Create, implement, and oversee Information Technology Literacy Standards (ITLS) Curriculum integrated with content standards.
Collaborate with Technology Staff and Teaching and Learning Team to assess and respond to staff learning needs, purchasing of instructional and administrative technology and related materials.
Participate in and help facilitate district committees when appropriate to support the development and implementation of instructional technology
Facilitates district data to improve student learning (student assessments, classroom data, software data usage and progress monitoring- keyboarding, coding)
Model the effective use of technology into curriculum and instructional practices across content areas.

Programming
Develop an instructional technology coaching and assessment model based off student centered coaching and instructional technology models.
Evaluate 4Cs integration assessment models- SAMR, TIMS, etc and create a model with assessments.
Create, implement and monitor an instructional technology coaching framework that is based on our 4Cs assessment model.
Create an assessment plan for the 4Cs- report card integration, skill assessment rubrics, etc.
Work collaboratively with K-5 and 6-12 Computer Science facilitators on the implementation and oversight of the K-12 Computer Science curriculum. Work with Computer Science teachers to provide, evaluate and expand relevant and innovative courses and programming.
Assess keyboarding curriculum and make adjustments for relevancy, aptitude and student skill acquisition.
Assist in the development of AI policies and processes related to use in the classroom, communication of use with students, and rethinking assessment in the age of AI.
Student Achievement and Accountability
Works with the Library Media Specialist/ Digital Literacy Specialist team and on the ongoing development and evaluation of K-12 ITLS Standards to assess and improve students’ digital literacy skills.
Collaborates and supports teachers with the integration of digital tools and innovative teaching practices; acts as Digital Learning Specialist in buildings as needed.
Develops and conducts technology needs assessments to determine future direction of integration, professional development and equipment needs.
Information and Technology Systems
Select, order, implement and maintain software to support learning (ios app process, digital subscriptions.)
Manages the implementation and facilitation of classroom and student instructional technology.
Manages district learning management systems and software
Setup courses for the start of the school year (rostring, accounts, settings)
Troubleshoot issues and questions.
Stay up to date with improvements in these systems (new features and processes) and communicate and train students and staff to best utilize these resources for improved instructional impact and efficiency/productivity.
Staff Development and Professional Growth
Coordinate the design, planning, support and implementation of highly effective and engaging professional development and learning in regards to instructional technology with the Teaching and Learning Team.
Co-Coordinates Apple Core Professional Development Program and provides professional development for Apple Core Trainers.
Attends workshops, meetings and reads to remain updated on trends and developments in instructional technology.
