What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant - Managed Accounting Services position at Pulakos CPAs?
Pulakos CPAs, a local, independent CPA firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team and provide professional full-charge, bookkeeping and accounting services for our clients in New Mexico, working out of our Managed Accounting Services department.
The Staff Accountant will work with our clients on:
- General Ledger and Financial Statements,
- Payroll and related reporting and
- General assistance and consultation with related matters beyond basic bookkeeping.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Required to have a minimum of 2 years work experience in payroll, general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation.
- Experience working at a CPA or bookkeeping firm preferred.
- Formal education in Accounting (degree, college classes, certifications) is a plus, but is not required.
- Required experience with QuickBooks.
- Must be effective user of Word, Excel and Outlook.
