Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Plugs Auto LLC is looking to hire 1-2 experienced Automotive Technicians to join our growing team. We're a locally owned repair shop that takes pride in providing honest, high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for dependable mechanics who enjoy what they do and want to be part of a team that values hard work, integrity, and quality workmanship.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No weekends

Pay

• Starting at $18.00 per hour
• Higher pay available based on experience, certifications, productivity, and overall qualifications

Job Responsibilities

As an Automotive Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of domestic and import vehicles. Daily responsibilities include:

• Performing routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brakes, suspension, steering, and tune-ups
• Diagnosing drivability concerns and mechanical issues
• Completing engine, transmission, cooling system, and electrical repairs as needed
• Performing inspections and recommending necessary repairs
• Using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle problems
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicating with the service team regarding vehicle needs and repair status
• Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds an ASE Certification (preferred)
• Has previous professional automotive repair experience
• Has strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Is dependable and arrives on time
• Takes pride in producing quality work
• Has a positive attitude and works well with others
• Is honest and treats customers' vehicles with care and respect
• Has a valid driver's license
• Can safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of automotive repair
