What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager - 40 hour week position at Pugh Executive Search?
Pugh Executive Search seeks an Accounting Manager/Controller for a privately held, distribution/services company based in Northwest Dallas. Reporting to the CFO, this Hands-On Accountant will manage a small team and focus much of their effort on improving the accounting processes and reporting using the NetSuite ERP system in an effort to streamline the efforts. The CFO desires a candidate with 3 years of External Audit experience, and preferably a CPA, to mentor this individual into becoming the company controller. To be considered for this role, we are looking for the following:
- BBA in Accounting
- CPA is a plus but not required
- 3 busy seasons from External Audit at a public accounting firm.
- Must have strong Excel including Pivot Tables and Lookups
- Must be a people person with a flexible personality and excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
