Puget Sound Hospice of King County is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Hospice Community Liaison to join our team.
This role is essential in fostering relationships between our organization and the community, ensuring that our services meet the needs of local residents.
The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and a passion for community engagement, acting as a bridge to enhance our outreach efforts and drive business development.
Job Summary:
**This position is in the field (not in an office) 80% of the time throughout the North King County area.
Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and referral partners to promote our services.
Conduct lead generation activities to identify potential clients and partnerships within the community.
Manage leads through cold calling and follow-ups to convert leads into clients.
Organize and conduct 'lunch and learn' events to educate about hospice services.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create marketing strategies.
Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities to increase visibility.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth within the territory.
Prepare reports on community engagement activities and sales performance for management review.
Requirements:
Proven experience in face-to-face sales activities, preferably in healthcare, strongly preferred in hospice or home health.
Excellent lead generation skills, with a track record of successful inside sales initiatives.
Experience in territory sales, demonstrating an ability to strategize based on regional market dynamics.
Comfort with cold calling as a means of outreach and relationship building.
Strong business development acumen, capable of identifying new opportunities for growth within the community.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to connect with diverse audiences.
Must have reliable, insured transportation.
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
