Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Package Manager to oversee the packaging operations within our organization. This role is essential in ensuring that all products are packaged efficiently and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge, delivery driving, cannabis, with a passion for the plant. This position requires hands-on involvement in the growing and maintenance of plants, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and delivery driving.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all packaging activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Oversee the processes for plants to maintain optimal curing conditions.
- Conduct regular inspections of packaged goods to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with team members providing guidance on compliance identification and maintenance.
- Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and tracking packaged goods.
- Participate in outdoor work related to garden maintenance and plant care.
- Train and supervise staff in proper packaging techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to packaging machinery and equipment.
- Must be able to drive long distances.
- Must be fluent in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the packaging process.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate inventory management.
- Knowledge of plant identification to assist in effective garden management.
- A passion for the cannabis industry, relationships and a healthy work flow.
