Position Summary

The Venue Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event execution and facility operations at The Motor Enclave, one of Puff ’n Stuff Catering’s premier exclusive venues. This position ensures that every event reflects the brand’s commitment to excellence in service, culinary presentation, and client satisfaction while upholding Puff ’n Stuff’s core values of Customer Focus, Passion, Creativity, and Trust.

The Venue Manager acts as the primary liaison between clients, sales planners, culinary, and operations teams to deliver seamless, world-class experiences. The Venue Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Manage the daily operations of The Motor Enclave venue including event setup, breakdown, and overall facility readiness.
  • Coordinate with culinary, logistics, and operations teams to ensure events are executed according to client expectations and brand standards.
  • Ensure all events are properly staffed, proper uniforms and guidelines adhered to.
  • Maintain venue equipment, furnishings, and inventory; oversee repairs and improvements as needed.
  • Ensure all safety, sanitation, and compliance standards are met.

Client & Event Management

  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients during events, ensuring exceptional service and proactive communication.
  • Work with the Puff ’n Stuff sales and planning teams to understand event requirements and translate them into operational plans.
  • Conduct pre- and post-event briefings to ensure client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Manage VIP guests and special requests with professionalism and discretion.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, schedule, and train venue staff including supervisors, servers, and bartenders.
  • Foster a positive, motivated team culture focused on collaboration and service excellence.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching aligned with Puff ’n Stuff’s standards and values.

Financial & Administrative

  • Manage labor and operational budgets for the venue.
  • Track expenses and report variances to management.
  • Support forecasting and revenue planning in collaboration with sales and leadership.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in hospitality or event management, preferably in catering or venue operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Valid clean driver’s license.
