Ensure efficient warehouse operation by overseeing the receipt, storage, inventory, and dispatch of products in compliance with established SOP, safety, and time standards.
Inventory Management
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate the receipt, inspection, and storage of goods.
- Comply with inventory procedures and stock control per our inventory system (PSI).
- Maintain accurate records in PSI of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Periodically check the condition of equipment, shelving, and warehouse systems, reporting anomalies for correction.
- Receive and tag laboratory equipment and other organization activities per internal procedure for asset tag.
- Support areas and vendors with the process of samples shipments.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and industrial safety protocols.
- Identify and classify hazardous materials (HazCom, GHS).
- Safely operated warehouse equipment (e.g., Hand Pallet Trucks, Electric Pallet Jack) with proper training.
- Follow emergencies, evacuation, and fire prevention procedures.
- Document incidents and audit findings, ensuring corrective actions are followed.
- Organize and optimize warehouse space.
- Propose improvements to operational processes for greater efficiency.
- Coordinate product dispatch and confirm deliveries according to schedule.
- Collaborate with other departments and PRST tenants to ensure efficient material flow.
- Key support to the Facilities stationed at the Forward Center with special tasks and projects.
Qualifications & Technical Job Requirements
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems for inventory management.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and inventory control.
- Accuracy in documentation and inventory handling.
- Application of ergonomic best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to work well with others, follow instructions, and schedule flexibility due to site needs.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain good customer relations.
- Working knowledge of the English language.
- Valid PR driver license.
- Associate or technical degree in logistics, administration, or related fields.
- Minimum experience: 2 years in warehouse operations with ERP and inventory control.
- OSHA 10/30 hours – General Industry.
- Hazardous Materials Handling (HazMat).
