Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing Plumbing -related projects.
- Support development and maintenance of project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation using industry-standard tools.
- Track project costs, prepare cost projections, monitor budgets, and assist in identifying and managing variances, change orders, or value engineering opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams (field technicians, engineers, installers, subcontractors), vendors, and clients to ensure timely procurement, submittals, approvals, fabrication, and installation of Plumbing equipment and components.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, report on status, risks, issues, safety compliance, and performance metrics to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Assist in quality control/assurance processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications, company standards, codes (e.g., ASHRAE, IMC), regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
- Help manage documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change requests, submittals, as-built drawings, and project close-out packages.
- Support risk identification and mitigation efforts related to Plumbing scope, and project delivery.
- Participate in project handover, system startup/commissioning support, testing/balancing coordination, and post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement and lessons learned.
