Pool Service Technician Who Wants to Grow, not Just Work a Route

Starting Pay:

Compensation is based on experience and role level:

• Experienced Technician: $20-26/hr. overtime incentives
• Lead Technicians/Experienced Repair Tech: $26-32/hr overtime

Job Type: Full-time

Location: In-person, field-based - ideally lives in Chattanooga or just outside.

The Opportunity

You'll start in the field, using your experience to provide excellent service on residential and commercial pools, spas, hot tubs, and water features. As you do this, you'll work directly with the owner and get real, hands-on coaching in how to run a business, not just maintain one. You will be key to the company’s success, in finding, winning and retaining customers. As the company grows, you will have plenty of opportunities to step up and grow with it!

What You'll Do

- Service pools, spas, hot tubs, and water features (opening, closing, cleaning, chemical balancing, and inspections)

- Diagnose and repair equipment: pumps, filters, heaters, plumbing, liners, automation systems, and more

- Delight customers with 5-star service and build trusted relationships on your route

- Own your schedule, route management, and service quality

- Help grow our brand in the field - place yard signs in high-visibility areas, leave door hangers near existing customers, and visit potential new clients

- Document completed jobs with readings, notes and photographs using our own easy-to-use software on your phone

- As you gain experience, support future hiring, onboarding, and training of new technicians

- Contribute ideas to improve how we operate - your input will shape this company, and you’ll be rewarded for it!

What You Bring

- 2 years minimum pool industry experience - residential and commercial preferred

- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred

- Mechanical aptitude: able to diagnose and repair pool equipment

- Self-motivated, dependable, and organized — you don't need to be managed closely

- A people person: friendly, confident, and trustworthy with customers

- Comfortable using your phone and apps daily

- Valid driver's license with a clean record (no tickets or accidents in the past 3 years)

- Must live in Chattanooga or nearby

- Able to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions

Experience:

• Pool industry: 2 years (preferred to have more)
• Residential experience (preferred to also have commercial experience)
• Pool equipment troubleshooting and repair (preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) License is Preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
