What You'll Do
As a Steam Table Operator, you will be responsible for steam sizing and coupling TPU hose — playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Picking up extruded hose from extrusion lines upon completion of the extrusion process
- Laying out extruded hose onto the steam table, attaching the hose to the heads, and sizing to standard OD
- Coupling, testing, and marking all TPU hoses per the job order
- Completing all shop floor paperwork per internal and external standards
- Rejecting all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
- Attaining production goals by accurately and timely completing work orders with minimum supervision
- Completing transactions in the ERP system and accurately recording time worked to the appropriate job(s)
- Operating a forklift as needed
- Maintaining a clean, orderly work area and complying with all OSHA and Puck rules and regulations

Required:
- High school diploma or GED, OR 3–6 months of related experience or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Industry experience
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role in a manufacturing environment. Team members must be able to:
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, twist, crouch, and crawl throughout the shift
- Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs. and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and communicate effectively
- Maintain close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, team members are frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, oil, and grease, and occasionally exposed to vibration. Team members occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and perform work from a variety of angles and body positions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Appropriate PPE is required and provided.
