- Maintaining control of access to Publix facilities by associates, guests, and other non-facility personnel
- Providing access control, routing, and shipping/receiving processing for product/equipment deliveries
- Conducting personal observations of activities within the facility and reporting incidents or procedural deficiencies that are identified
- Maintaining accurate security related records and documentation to include any/all activity that occurs, outside normal business
- Communicating information to security supervisors, associates, or facility management
