Publix Super Markets is hosting a hiring event for grocery clerks in select Mount Pleasant, SC locations, and we’d love to meet you! We are looking for friendly, customer-service-oriented people to join our hard-working team.

· Event Location: 1000 Johnnie Dodds Blvd, Mount Pleasant, SC

We're hiring grocery clerks at the following store locations:

· Store #449: 1000 Johnnie Dodds Blvd, Mount Pleasant, SC

· Store #846: 162 Seven Farms Drive, Charleston, SC

· Store #1055: 1435 Ben Sawyer Blvd, Mount Pleasant, SC

· Store #1081: 1125 Park West Blvd, Mount Pleasant, SC

Job Description:

· Provides premier customer service, including greeting customers and answering their questions.

· Ensures that product is within date and rotates and displays product according to the appropriate planogram.

· Assists with unloading products from trucks and organizes stock room.

· Fills assigned section as needed.

· Assists with the maintenance of the shelf set.

· Cleans cases and shelves, and mop and sweep the sales floor, stock rooms, and dairy coolers

· Operates back-room equipment, including pallet jack, scissor lift, baler, compactor, and scrub machine.

· Assists with other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· At least 16 years of age.

· At least 18 years of age to use sharp knives, powered equipment, or ladders, scaffolds, or their substitutes above 6 feet in height.

· Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.

· Ability to read, write, and do simple math problems.

· Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
