Floater Pharmacist – Publix Pharmacy
This is a full-time Floater Pharmacist position serving Publix Pharmacy locations across a designated geographic area in Florida. The hours vary based on store needs and may include shifts up to 12 hours.
There are no overnight shifts. Travel is reimbursable.

As a Floater Pharmacist for Publix Pharmacy, you bring a blend of clinical expertise, flexibility, and customer service excellence. Your professionalism and attention to detail help ensure our customers receive the best possible experience—wherever you’re assigned.
What you’ll do:
- Independently staff pharmacy locations according to posted store hours
- Administer immunizations and support Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
- Travel frequently to assigned Publix stores (up to 50 miles one-way)
- Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Follow Publix processes and best practices to make sound business decisions
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients and their families
What you’ll bring:
- Active pharmacist license in the state in which you are applying
- Certification to immunize (must be maintained on your license)
- Completion of the APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and work independently
