Overview
Position suitable for a highly motivated, precise, detail-oriented individual who will work with multiple teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial processes.
The Financial Analyst position supports agency by managing all aspects of client finance across forecasting, month’s end, revenue recognition, fee billing, corporate reporting, client balance sheet, and client profitability analysis. The Financial Analyst will also be involved in process improvement / automation projects and ad-hoc reporting in support of evolving business needs.
The Financial Analyst should thrive in a team environment and possess strong written and personal communication skills. This individual will work hand-in-hand with our Client Operations team to provide daily operational assistance.
Responsibilities
- Review key financial metrics and proactively resolve issues (unpaid invoices, inactive activities, persuasive evidence, unbilled, A/R)
- Responsible for timely and accurate client billing, and the collection of support documentation as needed from Client Operations.
- Ability to manipulate large data sets and transform for analytical use
- Generate and distribute system reports
- Highlight potential issues and recommend possible solutions
- Understand requests, question or suggest alternatives when appropriate
- Show judgment on when to elevate issues/requests and when to resolve independently
- Suggest process improvements to benefit Capability
- Initiative, responsibility and follow through for “owned” work a must
- Leverage Capability resources to resolve issues
- Prioritize and streamline tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiencies
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with Excel (including Pivot Tables)
- Familiarity using financial reporting systems (SAP, HFM) a plus, but not required
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts
- Interpersonal skills necessary to build strong partnerships and communicate with diverse groups agency-wide
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive team player attitude
- 1 years work experience is a plus, but not required
- Bachelors Degree

Compensation Range: $50,000 - $60,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
