Job Location: 35 West Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601. Required to work from Company Office (Chicago, IL) certain days per week. Telecommuting allowed for balance of week.
Job Type: Full Time
Rate of Pay: $93,974 per year
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to, the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
Responsibilities
Duties: Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Involved in building and preparing data sets that involve extract, transform, and load processes from various sources, transform it into a usable format and load it into data warehouses or BI platforms. Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize data in a user-friendly manner. Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns and insights relevant to business objectives. Create and maintain data models to structure and organize data for efficient analysis and reporting. Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve data efficiently from databases, ensuring optimal performance of BI solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, data analysts and other teams to understand data requirements and deliver BI solutions that meet business needs. Identify and resolve issues related to data quality, integrity and performance in BI solutions. Document data sources, data definitions, ETL processes and BI solutions to ensure clarity and maintainability. Perform test and validate BI solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability and adherence to business requirements. Emerge BI technologies, best practices and industry trends to continuously improve BI solutions and processes.
Qualifications
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or two years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Position also requires one year of experience in each of the following:

- Build and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to extract data from various sources transform it into a usable format, and load it into data warehouses using Python and Jupiter Notebook.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize data in a user-friendly manner using Tableau and PowerBI.
- Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives using Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve data efficiently using Microsoft SQL Server ensuring optimal performance of BI solutions.
- Communicate with business users, stakeholders, other teams, to understand data requirements and deliver BI solutions that meet business needs using MS teams, Python, SQL, Tableau.
- Identify and resolve issues related to data quality, integrity, and performance in BI solutions using advanced Excel.
- Proficient in developing and implementing data models for new and existing databases to support business processes and applications.
