The Relationship Specialist is responsible for successfully building and maintaining long-term relationships with members and able to handle inquiries regarding accounts, effectively and efficiently, to ensure maximum member satisfaction. The Relationship Specialist must display a high level of knowledge of PSCU products, expand PSCU wallet share, and have a positive attitude. Through a needs based/consultative sales approach, the Relationship Specialist will determine and recommend products that best fit the member’s needs, resulting in cross-selling effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities
- Advise members on banking services for their needs.
- Process and open consumer and commercial accounts, loan applications, and credit card applications.
- Handle Electronic Loan payments and payroll/funds distributions.
- Debit card orders, online banking, and e-statement registration.
- Collaborate with branch to ensure leads are provided and focus on goals to maximize branch growth.
- Actively build and maintain relationships with members through communication.
- Accurate and timely completion of new accounts, loan packets, and any other member-related documents.
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-year related sales experience or financial institution experience
- Basic computer, math, and clerical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Projects a professional image at every point of contact
