Previous experience at a financial institution is helpful, but we’re also open to candidates with strong customer service or cash-handling backgrounds.
What You’ll Do
Member Service & Transactions
- Assist members in the lobby, drive-thru, and by phone with routine transactions and account requests
- Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cashier’s checks, gift cards, and safe deposit transactions
- Process instant issue debit and credit card requests
- Educate members on self-service tools, including Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs)
- Answer routine account questions and help guide members to the right resources when needed
Operational & Team Support
- Balance an individual cash drawer daily and maintain transaction accuracy
- Follow security procedures and established branch guidelines
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and member-ready branch environment
- Support branch operations during busy periods and assist teammates as needed
- Work closely with branch staff and other departments to support member needs
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort using computers and learning new systems
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine cash handling tasks
- Eligibility to become a notary public
Schedule, Pay & Location
- Full-time, non-exempt position
- Primarily based at PSCU’s South Branch, with flexibility to support other branch locations as needed
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. with rotating Saturdays from 8:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
- Starting pay: $17.00 per hour and up, depending on experience
