What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Vice President of Public Relations position at Public Relations Firm?
Leading public relations firm is looking for a senior vice president to lead its consumer products practice. You will work with a team of respected industry public relations leaders on media relations, social media for top brands in retail, home furnishings, interior design, hospitality, tech and wellness.
The person chosen for this position should have 10 plus years of public relations experience, preferably in an agency setting. Candidates who have led diversified comms teams on the corporate side will also be considered. You must have strong media relations skills with a proven track record to top-tier consumer product placement, be a strong social media strategist, have good counselling skills for CEO and client business leaders, and have new business development skills. You will also have a good track record managing junior staffers and developing teams. You will report to the agency's CEO and be a member of its senior leadership team.
This position is in-person and based in our Bergen County, NJ office.
