Fundraiser - Start This Week - $20/hr Guaranteed

We’re hiring fundraisers in New Jersey to represent some of the world’s most recognized nonprofit organizations.

No experience needed - we’re looking for outgoing people who enjoy talking with others and want their work to support meaningful causes.

This role is a great fit for people interested in nonprofits, community outreach, advocacy, fundraising, public engagement, marketing, social impact, or other people-focused work.

What the Job Involves

Our teams raise funds through face-to-face outreach with members of the public in community spaces and neighborhoods across the city.

Fundraisers speak with people about important nonprofit campaigns and invite them to become monthly supporters.

Successful fundraisers enjoy:

This is a face-to-face outreach role that involves speaking with members of the public throughout the day.

Public Outreach strongly believes in promoting from within, with many members of our leadership team starting their careers in the fundraising role.

Schedule

We offer shifts Monday–Sunday, and ask that team members commit to at least three full 7.5hr shifts per week.

Available shifts:

Monday–Friday: 12:30 PM–8:00 PM

Saturday and Sunday: 7.5-hour shifts with varying start times, typically earlier

• Weekday and weekend shifts available

• Year-round employment

What We're Looking For

Successful fundraisers on our team tend to be:

• Outgoing and comfortable speaking with new people

• Strong communicators who enjoy social interaction

• Passionate about humanitarian, environmental, or social justice causes

• Positive, reliable, and team-oriented

• Comfortable working outdoors and on their feet

Experience in fundraising, nonprofit work, advocacy, sales, hospitality, customer service, retail, volunteering, activism, education, or other public-facing roles is helpful - but not required.
